Which Membership Is Right for Me?
MLKAR offers primary, secondary, MLS-only, and affiliate membership options. Membership requires completing one of the below applications and returning it to membership@mlkar.com.
Please note the below fees are for membership only and do not include MLS access. MLS access is available to all members at $40/month when paid annually or semi-annually, and $50/month when billed monthly. More about our MLS access fees here.
Primary Membership
- You are a primary member of MLKAR if your brokerage belongs to MLKAR or if you do not belong to any other local REALTOR® association.
- You pay local, state, and national REALTOR® dues to MLKAR and MLKAR sends them to Florida Realtors and the National Association of REALTORS®.
- You pay for MLS access monthly, semiannually, or annually.
- MLKAR keeps track of your licensure requirements and continuing education to ensure you remain in compliance of REALTOR® standards.
- You join the MLKAR family for life and are welcomed with open arms!
Secondary Membership
- You belong already to another local REALTOR® association but want to join the Florida Keys MLS and become a member of MLKAR as well.
- You will have the ability to serve on MLKAR committees, attend MLKAR events and education at member pricing, and all other benefits of MLKAR membership.
- You pay for MLS access monthly, semiannually, or annually.
- You will be registered as a secondary member with the National Association of REALTORS®.
- You will pay your state and national dues through your primary association, but be billed for annual MLKAR membership dues only each fall.
MLS-only Users
- You want to use the Florida Keys MLS for a specific or undetermined period of time, but do not want to be an MLKAR member or pay annual dues.
- You will pay a one-time application fee of $600 and then monthly MLS access fees for however long you wish to use the Florida Keys MLS.
- You pay for MLS access monthly, semiannually, or annually.
Affiliate Members
- You work in an allied field (not a real estate firm) and want to become an official member and business partner of MLKAR.
- Affiliate partners span a wide variety of industries, including mortgage/banking, pest control, attorneys, interior design, builders, title companies, home inspectors and much more.
